Club Policies
Month to Month Membership Contract
- Once membership is established, responsibility for payment of monthly dues shall continue until Newport Hills Swim and Tennis club receives a written notice of cancellation. Written notification of cancellation must be received by the 25th of the month, to be effective the first of the following month.
- A late fee of $5 will be assessed to any payments not received prior to the 25th of that month. Facility privileges for any member 30 days delinquent in payment will be restricted.
- Any member becoming 60 days delinquent will be terminated from the Club for non-payment, while retaining liability for any moneys owing and any costs associated with the collection thereof, including reasonable attorney's fees.
- All members of the Club agree to abide by the by-laws, rules and regulations. Although provisions for safety of the members have been made, Newport Hills Swim & Tennis Club assumes no responsibility for either the safety or possessions of the users of the facility. All persons using the facility do so at their own risk. Any damages to the premises of the Club will be the responsibility of the member whose family or guest causes the damage.
- Any staff member of the Club is authorized by the Club Manager to discipline any member or guest, as deemed necessary, including suspension of Club privileges for violation of Club rules and regulations.
- The obligation to pay dues is not dependent on the availability of the facilities. Dues will not be reduced or suspended during the time when one or more of the facilities are not available.
- Month to month members may resign at any time but will be charged the current initiation fee everytime you rejoin the club.
Summer Only Membership Contract
- Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club will not be issuing any new Summer Only membership in 2011. Those members that are current Summer Only members will be able to continue their memberships as long as they keep their membership active.
- Once membership is established, responsibility for payment of annual dues shall continue until Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club receives a written notification of cancellation. Written notifications must be received by April 1st of each year. If notification of cancellation is after April 1st, member will be responsible for summer dues until membership is sold. Payment of annual dues must be received by May 1st of each year.
- Any member becoming 15 days delinquent will be terminated from the Club for non-payment, while retaining liability for any moneys owing and any costs associated with the collection thereof, including reasonable attorney's fees.
- All members of the Club agree to abide by the by-laws, rules and regulations. - Summer Only membership allows full usage of the club from May 1st to Labor Day each year. Participation or club usage outside these dates will be limited to the current non-member policies and rates.
- Current members wishing to switch from a year round to a summer only membership must put a non-refundable deposit of $100 toward the next summers dues to reserve a Summer Only membership and must be current with their monthly dues at the time of the request. There is no fee to switch from a summer only to year round membership.
- The club has a limit of 50 Summer Only memberships. We are currently at this limit and will not be issuing any addtition summer only memberships for 2011.
Winter Only Membership Contract
- Once membership is established, responsibility for payment of dues shall continue until Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club receives a written notification of cancellation. Written notifications must be received by September 1st of each year. If notification of cancellation is after September 1st, member will be responsible for dues until resignation notice has been received. Winter Only memberships will be billed the current monthly rate for Family or Single or Senior from October 1st to April 30th.

Month to Month and Winter Only Memberships must pay the current Initiation Fee when joining. Summer Only memberships do not pay an initiation fee when joining.
Referral Policy
If you refer someone to Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club and they become a member, you will receive a coupon good for one month's dues free. Summer Only Members will receive a guest pass.
I.D. Cards
Please remember to bring your I.D. cards when coming to use the club facilities. Youths aged 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult and will not be issued a card until they have demonstrated swimming competency. Your I.D. cards are extremely important in monitoring Members only use of the facility. Please do not enter the club through the new gate, it is for exiting only. Anyone caught letting non-members into the club through this gate will receive a $50 fine.
Guest Policy
$5 per guest for your first two guests per day (maximum of 2 visits per month per guest)
$3 for each guest over two
$50 Guest Pass good for 12 guests
$10 weekly individual pass for out of town guest
$20 weekly family pass for out of town guest
