Club Policies

Year-Round Membership Contract

  1. Once membership is established, responsibility for payment of monthly dues shall continue for a minimum of twelve continuous months. After such time, Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club must receive a written notification of cancellation by the 25th of the month, to be effective the first of the following month.
  2. A late fee of $5 will be assessed to any payments not received prior to the 25th of that month. Facility privileges for any member 30 days delinquent in payment will be restricted.
  3. Any member becoming 60 days delinquent will be terminated from the Club for non-payment, while retaining liability for any moneys owing and any costs associated with the collection thereof, including reasonable attorney's fees.
  4. All members of the Club agree to abide by the by-laws, rules and regulations. Although provisions for safety of the members have been made, Newport Hills Swim & Tennis Club assumes no responsibility for either the safety or possessions of the users of the facility. All persons using the facility do so at their own risk. Any damages to the premises of the Club will be the responsibility of the member whose family or guest causes the damage.
  5. Any staff member of the Club is authorized by the Club Manager to discipline any member or guest, as deemed necessary, including suspension of Club privileges for violation of Club rules and regulations.
  6. The obligation to pay dues is not dependent on the availability of the facilities. Dues will not be reduced or suspended during the time when one or more of the facilities are not available.
  7. Membership must be maintained for a minimum of twelve continuous months.

Summer Only Membership Contract

Written notifications must be received by April 1st of each year. If notification of cancellation is after April 1st, member will be responsible for summer dues until membership is sold. Payment of annual dues must be received by May 1st of each year.
  2. Any member becoming 15 days delinquent will be terminated from the Club for non-payment, while retaining liability for any moneys owing and any costs associated with the collection thereof, including reasonable attorney's fees.
  3. All members of the Club agree to abide by the by-laws, rules and regulations. Although provisions for safety of the members have been made, Newport Hills Swim & Tennis Club assumes no responsibility for either the safety or possessions of the users of the facility.   6. Summer Only membership allows full usage of the club from May 1st to Labor Day each year. Participation or club usage outside these dates will be limited to the current non-member policies and rates.
  7. The number of Summer only memberships will be limited to 50. Current members wishing to switch from a year round to a summer only membership must pay a transfer membership fee equal to the current initiation fee. There is no fee to switch from a summer only to year round membership but membership must be maintained for at least 12 months after change.

Winter Only Membership Contract

Written notifications must be received by September 1st of each year. If notification of cancellation is after September 1st, member will be responsible for winter dues until membership is sold. Payment of annual dues must be received by October 1st of each year.

Referral Policy

If you refer someone to Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club and they become a member, you will receive a coupon good for one month's dues free. (not applicable for Summer/Winter only members).

I.D. Cards

Please remember to bring your I.D. cards when coming to use the club facilities. Youths aged 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult and will not be issued a card until they have demonstrated swimming competency. Your I.D. cards are extremely important in monitoring Members only use of the facility. Please do not enter the club through the new gate, it is for exiting only. Anyone caught letting non-members into the club through this gate will receive a $50 fine.

Guest Policy

$3 per guest for your first two guests per day
$1.50 for each guest over two (maximum of 2 visits per month per guest)
$10 weekly individual pass for out of town guest
$20 weekly family pass for out of town guest
