2013 USTA Novice and Challenger Tournaments
Newport Hills and Aces Tennis are hosting three USTA Junior Tennis Tournaments. Our first Tournament is for Novice Players on May 10-12th and our second tournament is for Challenger level players on May 17-19th and our final tournament of the season is the Newcastle Days Junior Challenger September Aug. 30th Sept. 1st.

Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club has 5 outdoor courts available year round from 6:00 AM or dawn to dusk Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to dusk Saturdays, Noon - dusk Sundays.
Tennis Director Anson Tse
Anson brings a passion and a love for teaching tennis from Kids 10 and Under Tennis, private lessons for college players, as well running adult classes/practices of beginners to the intermediate/advanced levels. Anson is also the assistant-manager at Aces Tennis Shop, where he is the sponsored rep for HEAD/Penn Racquets, and is a racquet stringer/technician for tennis and racquet ball racquets. Anson currently plays on 3 USTA League teams, and has devoted his efforts to growing and promoting tennis throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Anson first learned his tennis in Southern California. He started playing tennis later in life at the age of 15, but since picking up a racquet, has never let it go. Anson played 3 years of high school tennis and currently is the Head Coach for The Bear Creek School’s Boys Varsity Team, where his #1 doubles team won 1st place in the Quad-District 1/A/2B/1B for 2011-2012. He is also the Co-Head Coach of The Bear Creek Varsity Girls Teams in Redmond. Anson has been the coach of USTA Junior Teams, City of Renton’s QuickStart tennis programs and also coached for Tennis Night In America this year at AV Performance Tennis Center.
Our Tennis Programs
The club runs Lesson and Team programs only during the summer months.
Our youth programs include Junior Eastside Tennis League Team, USTA Orange Ball Team(ages 8-11), USTA Red Ball Team(9&U), Tennis Camps, and weekly youth lessons. For Adults, we have Flights and Ladies and Men's nights.
The club offers an annual 4th of July Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament and junior camps during the month of August. Newport Hills has hosted Newcastle Days Tennis Tournament and in the spring is home to the Eastside Catholic Tennis team.
The club does not charge any court fees, court reservations during the summer may be made by calling the front desk 425-746-9510.
2013 Mixed Doubles Mixers
At the end of each summer month the club hosts 3 mixed doubles mixers. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun as we start play at 6 PM. After tennis, we will have a social in the Banquet facility, some themes include BBQ, wine-tasting and cheeses, or a poker night. The fun starts at 6 PM and will continue into the night. Bring your kids to swim and play while you participate. Mixer nights are free to participants of men's and ladie's nights, and $8($16 for Non Members) for anyone not involved in adult nights. This year's Mixed Doubles Nights are June 21st, July 26th, and August 23rd, Sign-up at the front desk the week prior to these dates. The Sign-up deadline is the Thursday prior so that we can plan for food.

2013 Tennis Camps
Learn skills, play games and have fun! All Abilities welcome, kids ages 6-16. We will have a snack break. Sign-up begins Monday, June 3rd.
Session I: July 29 - Aug. 1st
Session II: Aug. 5th - 9th
All times are from 10 AM to 1 PM
$100 per camper per week
