2010 USTA Novice and Challenger Tournaments

Newport Hills and Aces Tennis are hosting three USTA Junior Tennis Tournaments. Our first Tournament is for Novice Players on May 7 - 9th and our second tournament is for Challenger level players on May 21 - 23rd and our final tournament of the season is the Newcastle Days Junior Challenger September 3-6th

Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club has 5 outdoor courts available year round from 6:00 AM or dawn to dusk Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to dusk Saturdays, Noon - dusk Sundays.

The club runs Lesson and Team programs only during the summer months.

The club offers an annual 4th of July Mixed Doubles Tennis Tournament and junior camps during the month of August. Newport Hills has hosted Newcastle Days Tennis Tournament and in the spring is home to the Eastside Catholic Tennis team.

The club does not charge any court fees, court reservations during the summer may be made by calling the front desk 425-746-9510. Members may also reserve the ball machine (see below) for a nominal fee.

2010 Mixed Doubles Mixers

At the end of each summer month the club hosts 3 mixed doubles mixers. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun as we start play at 6 PM. After tennis, we will have a social in the Banquet facility, some themes include BBQ, wine-tasting and cheeses, or a poker night. The fun starts at 6 PM and will continue into the night. Bring your kids to swim and play while you participate. Mixer nights are free to participants of men's and ladie's nights, and $7($15 for Non Members) for anyone not involved in adult nights. This year's Mixed Doubles Nights are June 25th, July 30th, and August 27th, Sign-up at the front desk the week prior to these dates.

2010 Tennis Tournaments

Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club holds two tournaments during the summer season. A Mixed Doubles Tournament during the annual 4th of July picnic @ 10:00 AM and the All Club Men's and Women's Singles and Doubles Tournaments each August. Please check the front desk area or the Tennis Board for information on dates and sign-ups.

2010 Tennis Camps

Learn skills, play games and have fun! All Abilities welcome, kids ages 6-16. We will have a snack break. Sign-up begins Monday, May 24th.

Session I: August 2nd-5th
Session II: August 9th - 13th
All times are from 10 AM to 1 PM

$100 per camper per week

Ball Machine Rental

Members may rent the ball machine for $10.00. Just come to the front desk to get the balls for the ball machine. The shed is located next to the Basketball Court. You will need to plug into the light pole located just south of courts 4 and 5. Please return the ball machine to the shed and tennis balls to the front desk when you are done. Reservations are recommended. Must be 16 to rent machine. When your return the balls you will receive $5 of your $10 back.
