2025 Summer NHSTC Water Polo

Our Summer 2025 Water Polo will start July 28th and run through August 24th. This year Miles Prado and Tyler Perry will be the head coaches. Practices will be 8am-11am M, T, W, and F. The coaches will determine the final practices times on July 21st.

Miles Prado's Bio:
Hey, my name is Miles, and I’ve been running the summer water polo program for the last four years. Every summer, I get to dive in with an awesome crew of young athletes. I’ve been playing myself for about eight years on club teams and in competitive leagues, so I know the sport inside and out. I love sharing what I’ve learned, helping players sharpen their skills, and building a fun, tight-knit team!

Tyler Perry's Bio:
Hello, my name is Tyler Perry! I was born and raised in Bellevue, WA, and graduated from Loyola Marymount University in May. I’ve been swimming at Newport Hills my whole life and started playing water polo at age 7. I’m so excited to be coaching this summer and look forward to meeting everyone!

For questions please contact Miles and Tyler at [email protected].

SafeSport Requirement for All Midlakes Participants (Swimmers, Parents/Volunteers, Board, Coaches)

Starting May 1, 2022, all swimmers will need to be SafeSport trained to compete in Midlakes Swim & Dive League. Midlakes Swim & Dive League is committed to improving the development and safety of athletes and participants involved in swim, dive, and water polo. In an effort to prevent the emotional, physical, and sexual abuse of athletes, Midlakes wants to implement both prevention training and prevention policies. The goal of all trainings is to equip participants with knowledge on how to Prevent, Recognize, and Report sexual misconduct and keep our league safe and fun for all participants.

If Coaches and Swimmers are not trained before your Club’s first practice, they will not be allowed to enter the pool until your training is complete. Parents and Volunteers must be trained by June 1. We recommend everyone get trained as soon as possible, so you don’t forget and end up rushing to squeeze the training in at the last minute.
