We are seeking an energetic and well-organized Banquet Manager to provide our customers with a first-class banquet experience. As Banquet Manager you will liaise with our banquet supervisors, manage their schedules according to bookings in the Banquet Hall. Your duties include, coordinating reservations, managing contracts, and keeping a record tracking of customer use of the Banquet Hall, and marketing our rental space. Flexible work hours. Banquet Manager will be required to work front desk hours in addition to Banquet duties.
Coordinating reservations on the Banquet Hall calendar.
Following up with customers.
Ensure all customers acquire adequate permits prior to reservation. Record and track permits.
Ensuing customers follow contract rules such as cleanup.
Checking in with Banquet supervisors to determine the state of the Banquet Hall before and after a rental.
Create and manage club events in the Banquet Hall.
Managing the banquet manager email and checking for new requests.
Overseeing the state of provided equipment.
Answering customers questions and accommodating requests.
Thorough knowledge on rental fees, rules, department process and equipment offered.
Making day-to-day decisions on service changes when needed.
Develop and maintain banquet accounts.
Ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after event.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Finding instructors to create programs NHSTC can offer to its clients.
Marketing Responsibilities and Requirements
Excellent knowledge of social media applications such as but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Adequate knowledge and experience with SEO.
Basic website knowledge.
HTML coding is a plus but not required.
Degree in Graphic Arts or Marketing is a plus but not required.
Must have a sense of design and layout.
Experience creating flyers, or other marketing material.
Overseeing the design and content of an advertising campaign to ensure it meets the needs of the target audience.
Consistently managing and overseeing advertising campaigns to ensure they’re engaging customers and bringing in results.
Analyzing results from each campaign to determine what was successful and what to improve for the next campaign.
Selecting color, fonts, photographs, layouts and other design elements to communicate creative concepts.
Staying up to date on calendar and club events.
Conducting market research to determine a target audience’s needs, wants, habits, interests and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing campaigns.
Finding new marketing strategies and pitching ideas to management.
Maintain company’s brand and image internally and externally. This includes reviewing, updating and maintaining the company’s visual representation in all aspects of design including typography, composition and color.
