Katie was fortunate to experience yoga early in a grade school class when her teacher would give short yoga breaks to help students expel energy. Many years later in college, she got back on the mat. After yoga became a regular practice for Katie, she realized she enjoyed it beyond the workout, that her practice offered a space where she could truly connect with herself and mindfully witness how she felt on every level. She hopes to offer that same space for mindfulness and movement with others so that they, too, can explore a connection to themselves.
When Katie isn't practicing yoga, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and studying herbal medicine. She loves being outdoors. |
