Newport Hills Swim & Tennis Club is looking to hire a front desk employee to undertake the receptionist and office duties at the front desk. You will be the face of the company, the first and last impression we make on our visitors. An ideal candidate will have a friendly people-loving personality, while also being attentive, efficient and well organized.
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors with a smile and set a positive atmosphere
Answer phones, take messages and direct calls
Organize, answer, and forward emails
Create and maintain files, records, and documents
Operate office equipment
Maintain a clean and tidy front office area
Process membership sign-up, membership changes and resignations.
Process payments and handle refunds
Maintain communication between management, office staff, maintenance staff and lifeguards
Give tours of the club
Complete office tasks assigned by management
Maintain current knowledge of club programs including lessons, adult classes, and teams (swim, tennis, and diving)
Ability to answer all questions asked or promise to find the answer
Requirements:
Available shifts include weekdays, weekends, and evenings
Need to be CPR and First Aid certified, we will provide training at cost
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
Strong verbal and written communication and people skills
Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
